The BBC's biggest ever outdoor music concert, the Radio 1 Hackney Weekend 2012, featured "an amazing line-up" and was "a big success", according to Hackney Council and BBC Radio 1, who worked in partnership to deliver the event on Hackney Marshes during the weekend of 23 and 24 June.
The audience was wowed by a stunning headline performance from Jay-Z on Saturday and global superstar Rihanna entertained crowds on Sunday.
